LAND ART PROVIDES A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS 

TO SLOW DOWN  connect with the Land they are on and be led into a world of texture, colour and form,

In a fun environment, students will develop observational skills, knowledge of local ecology, collaboration and artistic skills. Guided by Award-Winning Artist Elaine Clocherty with 25 years experience, they will create individual and group artworks, using local natural materials which express and create connection with Nature.

Why Land Art Workshops?

Why Land Art Workshops?
As part of this process students will explore,
• Land Art Skills. Introducing Land Responsive Art including learning to read the
landscape, collecting of Natural materials, and creation processes.
• Environment. Learning about the local plants and animals/insects and how to
respect the natural environment.
• Visual art skills. With a focus on design, colour, texture and form.
• Evaluation/Reflection. Students are encouraged to articulate their experiences and
associated learning.
• Personal Development, Health and Wellbeing. The Land Art Process embodies
mindfulness. Using our hands to carefully lay all the pieces creates a lovely sense of
connection and calm.
• Collaboration. Working together based on respect, recognising and considering
others views, opinions and working together to create collective outcomes.

Land Art workshop costs
$600 - $1200 (TBC)
Cost varies depending on
the number of students

This includes all materials and travel within the
Southwest. (An additional cost will be charged for
travel outside this area at NAVA rates - National
Association for the Visual Arts)
